Conceived to store solids safely, in good order and under control, our storage silos for solids are developed custom for flours, granulates, PET, powders or chemicals, with careful manufacturing that resolves capacity, discharge, fit in the plant and the real demands of each installation.

What you need to know
Every silo starts with a well-resolved design. At our company we calculate each item of equipment to UNE EN 1991-4 and UNE EN 1993-4-1, also allowing for self-weight, imposed loads, snow, wind and seismic action in accordance with UNE EN 1991-1-1, UNE EN 1991-1-3, UNE EN 1991-1-4 and UNE EN 1998-4. On that basis, we manufacture to the level of QUALITY demanded by equipment that has to work steadily, safely and for a long time, integrating filters, level and pressure control, safety valves, vibrating bottoms, screw conveyors and fluidisation systems according to the real demands of the installation.
When the solid carries a risk of dust explosion, we approach the ATEX zone with the rigour it requires. Our silos can be designed to withstand a given explosion pressure and to include the appropriate vent area to EN 14491 and/or NFPA 68, together with explosion panels and whatever is needed to reinforce safety, operability and the client’s peace of mind at the plant.
